Project Description

Embracing the essence of South India’s architectural heritage, we opted for a tropical theme with wooden pillars that exuded a warm and inviting atmosphere. Despite the limited space, we managed to create a visually striking interior by combining monochrome hues with vibrant hand-painted tropical motifs. Adding a regional touch to the lighting, we used mitti ki kadhai to suspend from the ceiling, which not only complemented the overall decor but also aligned with the client’s budget. To infuse an element of drama, we selected geometric-printed tiles for the flooring.

At Idli Anna, a charming high-end restaurant that exclusively serves vegetarian dishes, we created a space that authentically embodied the culture and craft of South India. With a keen eye for detail, we designed a small red mud tawa partition that showcased the food in a line art form, adding an earthy touch to the ambiance. The South Indian pillars, which are a hallmark of the region’s architecture, were prominently featured, imbuing the space with a bright and lively vibe that invites guests to indulge in the flavors of the region.
